Why Hoppenville
sweet sixteens live somewhere on the estate.
Sweet sixteens land in the Welcome Center, where 5,400 square feet and 20-foot ceilings give a DJ room to build a real dance floor without crowding the guest tables around it. At 40 to 200 guests you can run the room as a full banquet-plus-dance layout for a sit-down celebration with a formal entrance and choreographed dances, or open it up cocktail-style if the night is built around mingling, a photo backdrop, and a lounge feel instead of assigned seating. The room is A/V ready, which matters for a party built on music, a slideshow, and a mic for toasts or a candle-lighting ceremony. The wrought-iron chandeliers and stone fireplace give you a backdrop that photographs well without extra decor, and the polished concrete floor holds up to a full night of dancing. The full-length patio gives guests a place to step outside and cool off between sets, and on-site parking for about 100 vehicles makes drop-off and pickup simple for a crowd that includes a lot of parents and young drivers. If your family wants to fold in a tour of the on-site construction and transportation museum before or during the party, that can be arranged ahead of time. Catering runs through Robert Ryan Catering & Design or Tosco's Catering, and any bar service must come from a licensed, insured bartender or caterer. Tours of the Welcome Center are by appointment Tuesday through Saturday, so you can walk the space and picture the layout before you book.
