Season · 100–220 guests
Long days, late ceremonies, and a sun that sets while you're still on the lawn.
A summer wedding at The Museum at Hoppenville stretches the day out: you get long light, a late ceremony, and a sunset that catches you still out on the lawn instead of already inside for dinner. The Welcome Center is the natural fit for this season and this size, holding 100 to 220 guests under 20-foot ceilings and wrought-iron chandeliers, with a full-length patio that opens straight onto the gardens so the party can move outdoors the moment the heat breaks. Set up an outdoor bar there and let guests drift between the patio and the grass while the light goes gold. Inside, dress the tables in linen runners with citrus centerpieces, bright and a little informal, the kind of arrangement that feels right when the doors are open and the air is warm. As the night goes on, a late-night dessert table on the patio keeps people outside past dark, plates in hand, string lights picking up where the sunset left off. If the forecast turns, every venue here has an indoor rain plan built in at no extra cost, decided together 24 to 48 hours out, so a summer storm never means a scramble. Catering comes from one of the estate's two exclusive in-house caterers, Robert Ryan Catering & Design or Tosco's Catering, and you're free to bring in your own florist, photographer, and entertainment to round out the day.
