October maples, candlelight at four-thirty, and the warmest reception of the year.

Fall at the estate means October maples turning color across the 24 acres, and a wedding day built around light: ceremonies land in the golden hour before an early evening reception, often with candlelight set for four-thirty. The Bank Barn is the natural fit for the season. Its hand-hewn, mid-1800s post-and-beam frame and string-light ceiling read especially warm once the leaves turn, and because the barn is not climate-controlled, its sliding doors stay open to the cool autumn air while guests move between the barn and the adjacent lawn for ceremonies. The barn seats about 150, and across the property fall weddings here run from about 60 to 180 guests depending on which spaces you combine. Decor tends toward warm autumn florals with pumpkin and vine accents worked into tablescapes and entry displays, and a hot cider station is a favorite way to greet guests as temperatures drop after sunset. Catering comes from one of the estate's two in-house caterers, Robert Ryan Catering & Design or Tosco's Catering, so your fall menu can lean into the season's ingredients. If you want the reception to run past dark, ask about opening the on-site construction and transportation museum for guests, and start your search for a florist, baker, or photographer who works this property often, since the fall look has its own texture.
